Miss Gay Latina 2015 will be held at Diana Wortham Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m., according to organizer Enny Guerrero, who writes:
We were very pleased with the warm reception and overwhelming response that we received from the Asheville community last year, and anticipate an even greater event this year. … The pageant organizers are already hard at work recruiting, planning and choreographing this year’s event. The opening act will have an emphasis on the traditional Hispanic heritage, highlighted by professional international dancers. The competition will then heat up as the contestants for Miss Gay Latina Asheville take the stage to compete in Traditional Costume, Talent and Evening Gown. This year’s production promises to be another night of fantastic fun, fantasy and outstanding entertainment.
Presented by Gonzalez Diaz Enterprise, the event costs $20 to attend. Visit dwtheatre.com for more information and tickets.
