PRESS RELEASE:
Thirty-three doll artists from Western North Carolina, Tennessee & South Carolina, have made children’s storybook characters come alive. GoFigure artists have created “one of a kind” sculpted characters like Serafina and the Black Cloak, and Dr. Seuss’s “Snort.” These characters were made to celebrate National Reading Month.
Where the public can find the characters–
The “Storybook Characters on Parade Exhibit” can be seen at these locations:
1. April 1st- 29, Pack Memorial Library, Children’s Department, 67 Haywood St., Asheville, NC
2. May 1st – 30, Leicester Library, 1561 Alexander Road, Leicester
3. June 1st –Dec.30, I-26 West Welcome Center N.C/Tenn. — I-26 at Mile Marker 6 Mars Hill
