Children First Communities in Schools hosts fundraising trivia contest

Ok, let’s see if you know the answer to this one: In which Dickens novel was Miss Havisham jilted on her wedding day? I’ll give you a hint– Children First/CIS has Great Expectations that our 5th annual “Are You Smarter Than an Elementary Student?” will be the best one yet!

Join us on Thursday, May 19th at the Millroom in Downtown Asheville (66 Asheland Ave). Doors open at 5:30 and the game begins at 6:30.

This traditional trivia contest will test your knowledge of pop culture, history, geography and more! Winning teams will get awesome prizes from NC Stage, Omni Grove Park Inn, Navitat Canopy Adventures-just to name a few!

Silent auction items from local restaurants, artists and businesses will be available for bidding.

Register a Team for $300- all proceeds go to support our programs & supports for local children & families living in poverty. Buy an audience ticket for $30 and get some yummy food, a free pint glass, and bid on great items for a fraction of original costs, and cheer on teams!
