Team Browne at Keller Williams Professionals and The Kim Winters Team at Movement Mortgage are proud to present high-energy local band, Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats, for a concert benefiting Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity on June 1. The benefit concert starts at 8 p.m. and will be held at Ambrose West at 312 Haywood Rd. Tickets range between $20 – $40 and all ticket sale proceeds will be donated to Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity.
The benefit concert is an extension of RED Day, Keller Williams’ annual day of service dedicated to renewing, energizing and donating to local communities. On May 9, The Kim Winters Team and Team Browne chose to “Give Where They Live” spending the day with Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity helping build affordable homes ensuring more families have safe and decent housing in our community.
“RED Day just happens to be a one-day expression of the constant state of the Keller Williams culture. We see a need, discover who can meet it and get it done,” said Scott Browne, broker owner of Team Browne at Keller Williams Professionals.
“One of the best parts about this event will be the gathering of our community. Family, friends, and local businesses will come together for a night of great music to raise money and awareness for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity,” said Kim Winters, senior loan officer at Movement Mortgage. “There is nothing better than knowing a fun evening out will lead to a home for a family in our community.”
Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats will be performing two full sets, including a set of Tom Petty tributes and set of their original tunes. Formed in 2011, Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats started as a street busking project. Revered for their high energy live shows, dynamic musicianship & Andrew Scotchie’s larger than life stage presence, the band has continued to craft their hard driving style of rock n roll and are dedicated to building their musical family.
