Join us for a Creative Sector Talk presented by Asheville Area Arts Council on Tuesday, February 18 at the Center for Craft to hear Arts NC Executive Director, Nate McGaha discuss arts education advocacy and the role it plays in public policy and funding for a comprehensive arts education.
Nate will share updates on state and federal policy funding as it relates to the arts and arts education as well as strategies to engage with elected officials to have a positive impact on the creative education of our students.
This is a great opportunity to gain a better understand of what it means to advocate for the arts in North Carolina and how Arts North Carolina works toward equitable access to the Arts for ALL North Carolinians.
Free for AAAC Members, $5 for Non-Members.
