Asheville GreenWorks and TD Bank team up with Southside community for “TD Tree Days” Oct. 22

Asheville GreenWorks and TD Bank Employees Plant Trees in Asheville at TD Tree Days – Saturday, October 22, 2016

WHO: As part of TD Bank’s “TD Tree Days” tree planting initiative, employee volunteers from TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, will join partner organization Asheville GreenWorks to plant trees at the Southside Community.

WHAT: “TD Tree Days” is an example of TD’s commitment to the environment and is a component of TD Forests, an initiative to expand urban forestry to enhance community and economic development.

TD Bank employees will be joined by Asheville GreenWorks volunteers to plant trees at the Southside Community adding much needed green infrastructure by enhancing recreation spaces, mitigating the effects of storm water, providing shade and establishing a more welcoming environment for the community.   

WHEN: Saturday, October 22, 2016
             8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
