Benefit show at New Mountain for Holmes Desmelik
Date: Friday, August 1
Time: doors 8 p.m./show 9 p.m.
Location: New Mountain (old Hairspray) newmountainavl.com
What: A night of music and laughs presented by Slice of Life Comedy. Featuring Laura Blackley, Josh Gibbs & friends with standup by local favorite comedians. Hosted by Michele Scheve & Kelly Rowe.
Cost: $8. 100% of proceeds and 10% of bar sales will be going to the Desmelik family to help with medical costs.

Join Slice of Life Comedy August 1, for a night of celebration through music and comedy. We will start the evening off with a few stand-up comedians directly followed my music from Laura Blackley, Josh Gibbs, & friends. FREE food provided by our friends at Neo Burrito.

Dave Desmelik is a long time singer-songwriter in Asheville. His wife Clare & him have two beautiful little boys. Their older son Holmes, age 5,  has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Slice of Life Comedy & New Mountain have teamed up to present great vibes, support, & love to the Desmelik family in order to help them in any way to make their situation a little brighter.
