Chattanooga Zine Fest calls for artists

3rd Annual Chattanooga Zine Fest Now Taking Submissions

Chattanooga Zine Fest is now seeking vendors for the annual independent publishing festival held at the Chattanooga Public Library on the 4th Floor, Saturday, May 14th from 10am-5pm. Chattanooga Zine Fest is a celebration of independent publishing culture including zine-making workshops, vendors selling and trading their publications, and zine readings.

The Call For Submission is officially open to experienced and novice independent zine makers, independent publishers and distributors. To apply simply send a link to your zine’s webpage or image, or attach an image of your zine in an email and send it to: chattanoogazinefest@gmail.com with the subject line ZineFest. Submissions will be accepted through midnight, April 17, 2016.

Read and make zines all year long at the Chattanooga Zine Library on The 4th Floor. Established in 2014 through a collaboration with UTC Fine Art Department faculty member, Aggie Toppins, the collection spans more than thirty years of zine history and crosses a variety of genres including art zines (photography, collage, drawing), comics, cooking, film, music, poetry, politics, sci-fi, and more.
