Though the Flatiron Writers Room has only been in existence two years, the Flatiron Writers are celebrating 25 years as a literary critique group.
To celebrate that longevity and as a hats-off to the vibrant and ever-evolving Asheville-area literary scene, the Flatiron Writers, the Flatiron Writers Room and the Connect Beyond Festival* are throwing a party at UpCountry Brewing.
The evening will include a screening of a brand new mini-documentary film about the history of the Flatiron Writers and the Asheville Lit scene and information on the upcoming Connect Beyond Festival and Flatiron Writers Room season of workshops and events.
*Asheville’s newest and coolest cross-pollination festival that co-mingles literature, film, music and art into three days of timely exploration and discussion of being an artist in today’s world.
