With cooler weather comes cooler events!  Hickory Nut Gap Farm is getting Asheville ready for the end of 2018 with amazing events and local fun.

EXTENDING FALL FESTIVITIES:
We are excited to announce that with the late fall weather upon us, we are extending our Fall Festivities beyond November 4th and making the season last throughout the month of November.  Now you can visit the farm, enjoy fall rides, and take part in the festivities each weekend for a reduced admission of $6/person ages 5+.

DATE NIGHT UNDER THE STARS:
Local Astronomer, Stephan Martin, introduces the mystery of the night sky where city lights are far from interrupting clear evening views.  Bring your own blankets and snuggle up at the farm on November 16th from 7:30-9pm to view one of the biggest meteor showers of the year, the Leonid.  On December 7th, view the last new moon of 2018 along with winter constellations from 7pm-8:30pm. Cost: $6/person ages 5+

HUGE INVENTORY CLEARANCE- HNG MEAT: Our wholesale department is liquidating all previous year frozen inventory to make room for new stock.  Come by the farm to purchase frozen, plastic sealed beef, pork, and chicken in all varieties of cuts. Prices offered below wholesale cost. Time to stock up the freezer! Sale takes place at the farm from 11am-3pm, November 24th.

HOLIDAY MARKET ON DEC. 8TH: Love local? We are hosting a special LOCAL Holiday Market where crafters, artisans, makers and food-smiths will help with building gift baskets and unique gift options for that hard-to-buy-for person on the list. It’s a great opportunity to purchase holiday supplies and support your local folk. In addition, enjoy s’mores by the bonfire, tasty samples, and a special photo op with Santa Claus! This is a free event from 11-4pm on Saturday, December 8th.
