The North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition (NCHRC) is a statewide grassroots organization dedicated to implementing harm reduction interventions, public health strategies, drug policy transformation and justice reform.
NCHRC is partnering with Haywood County Health & Human Services Agency to combat the public health crisis surrounding fatal drug overdoses in the county.
On Tuesday, May 14 from 12 p.m.-2 p.m., NCHRC staff will be at the Health and Human Services Agency building at 157 Paragon Parkway in Clyde, room 301, to conduct overdose recognition and opioid overdose reversal training. This is a drop-in program. Participants will receive free naloxone, harm reduction resources and information on substance use services.
