Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Amal Das to present free information session

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Amal K. Das, Jr., M.D., of Southeastern Sports Medicine will present the event “Set Your New Year in Motion with Healthier Joints!” on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The community is invited to learn about arthritis of the hip and knee and surgical and conservative treatment options for the condition. The presentation will take place at the Lelia Patterson Center in Fletcher, which is located at 1111 Howard Gap Road, and free refreshments will be provided for guests.
