Park Ridge Health Wins Workplace Safety and Engagement Awards
Hendersonville, N.C. (July 3, 2012) – Park Ridge Health is the only hospital in Western North Carolina to be recognized in this year’s North Carolina Department of Labor Annual Safety Awards. Park Ridge was awarded a Gold Award for maintaining a workplace accident incidence rate of at least 50 percent below the average of the hospital industry across the State.“We believe the health and safety of our team members is a critical element in creating the best place to work in WNC,” said Brandon Nudd, Director of Organizational Development at Park Ridge Health. “It’s exciting to know as a patient or as an employee that Park Ridge’s commitment to safety is of the highest priority.“
Last month, for the second year in a row, Park Ridge Health – along with 42 other hospitals operating within Adventist Health System (AHS) – also received the Gallup Great Workplace award, which recognizes the organization as having one of the best-performing and most productive and engaged workforces in the world. AHS was presented the award during the Gallup Summit on May 15 – 17 in Omaha, Nebraska.
