Press release from Grace Church in the Mountains:
Grace Church at 394 N. Haywood St. in Waynesville will hold a 90 minute forum on Understanding Opioid Addiction on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11:00 a.m., which is open to all.
Speakers include experts, advocates and a physician from Haywood County who will help us understand addiction, in general, and opioids, more specifically. Topics include Understanding Root Causes and Prevention, What is Happening in Haywood?, From Judgment to Compassion, Hope and Resources, and success stories and local resources/programs.
Attendance is free and all are invited to attend. Please register by emailing admin@gracewaynesville.com. Let us know how many will be attending so we can be prepared with seating and brunch, which will follow the program.
