Weaverville United Methodist Church offers classes as part of community matters campaign

Press release from Weaverville United Methodist Church:

Weaverville United Methodist Church will have community-wide self-defense and yoga classes beginning Feb. 24, 2016. The Self-Defense Class will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the Yoga Class will begin shortly afterward at 5:45 p.m. Please wear appropriate attire for each class and bring your own yoga mat.

Both classes will be taught in Weaverville United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Center, located directly across from the church at 90 North Main Street.

Both classes are also taught at a beginner’s level, led by professional instructors. The Self-Defense Class will be taught by Matt “The Marine” Willis, and the Yoga Class will be taught by Donna Hollinshead. All classes are free to the community. Donations are optional but accepted.

Also, please join us on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Center for the Well, Weaverville United Methodist Church’s contemporary service. The Well starts at 10:45 a.m. every Sunday morning.
