WHERE: The Grey Eagle – 185 Clingman Avenue – Asheville, N. C.

WHEN: Saturday, October 29, 2016 – 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Zydeco Ya Ya, the power house band from the Piedmont area of the Carolinas & Georgia, delivers zydeco groove guaranteed to let the good times roll. Playing at festivals, dances, and clubs for their fans everywhere; performing everything from traditional zydeco to swamp pop, second line, & Cajun swing. Zydeco Ya Ya has emerged as the areas’ hottest new zydeco band.

Zydeco Ya Ya’s red-hot rhythms excite listeners & dancers alike with their hard-driving two-steps & waltzes – guaranteed to fire up your feet, with the accordion and rub-board pumping non-stop energy onto the dance floor.

There will also, be a Free 30 minute “Zydeco Dance Lesson” by: Ms. Deborah Swanson. Zydeco Ya Ya is in the house! This music is fun and caters to all!!!

Zydeco Ya Ya features Trent Van Blaricom as band leader who plays single & triple row accordions, fiddle, frottoir & vocalist. Jean Prewitt is the bands’ frottoir, accordion, harmonica & vocals. Phillip Ashley the brother of (Rev. Robbie J. Williams) is on bass and vocals. Peter Chakales is the drummer, Don Cowan & Andy Hunter on electric guitar.
