Asheville’s premier performing arts collective, Asheville Vaudeville, continues its fling into spring at the Toy Boat with a March 14th extravaganza! Our Mistress of Ceremonies, Valerie Meiss of Miss Mousie and the Rigamarole, will be musically leading the way, and the evening will be filled with comedy, song, theatrical storytelling, puppetry, flaming acrobatics and a daring dash of burlesque.

Featured artists in this fabulous show are Onkel Woland and the Black Forest Menagerie, weaving twisted and wicked tales for very grownup children, acrobatics with a fiery touch by Sneaky McFly and Ani Oakley of Unifire Theatre, exotic dance by Claire Dima, brazen boylesque by Rod O’Steele, clowning with a political point by Rigel 7. Keith Shubert and Madison J. Cripps, individually will be providing puppet poignancy and punch, and the captivating Queen April and Catalina Mystique sprinkle comic burlesque zest onto this rich gumbo of vaudevillian performance.

This spicy evening of hot stuff is intended for audiences 18 years of age and older.

Asheville Vaudeville will continue through the spring with one more exciting show at the Toy Boat on Saturday, April 18th.
