Sunday Jazz Showcase at Isis Restaurant & Music Hall
Summer is winding down and school is winding up. Why not pop into the Isis this weekend to enjoy one last summer hurrah before the fall kicks into high gear! We’ll still be flying high from the energy of this past weekend, which many have said was one of our best ever, musically speaking. The multitalented Rockell Scott was spellbinding upstairs. Downstairs, superstar pianist Cyrus Chestnut treated a riveted Asheville audience to the very best jazz to be heard anywhere today:
Aug 31: Back in the groove this week with our Sunday Vocal Showcase and a moving tribute to Billie Holiday delivered by local favorite PAULA HANKE.
The Isis monthly ORIGINAL MUSIC NIGHT features the original compositions of none other than Dr. William Bares.
