Oskar Blues Brewery Partners with MANNA FoodBank for canned food drive

Press release from Oskar Blues Brewery:

WHAT: In honor of Canned Food Month, Oskar Blues Brewery has partnered with MANNA FoodBank to run a month-long CANned food drive. For every ten cans donated, do-gooders will be entered into a raffle for a chance to brew a beer with an Oskar Blues brewer. There is no limit to the amount of cans that can be donated or raffle tickets earned.

WHEN: The CANned food drive will take place the entire month of February. The drawing for the raffle will take place on March 4th at the Gubna Imperial IPA release party.

WHY: As the first craft brewery to CAN their beer, Oskar Blues has an affinity for all things CANned. The brewery’s passion also extends to giving back to the community. To quote Oskar Blues’ soul-founder, Dale Katechis, “We all strive as an organization to do things bigger and better than making a buck. Sure, in the early days when we didn’t have a buck, we weren’t able to do the things we can do now. But as we grew, we wove giving back into the culture of the company.”

WHERE: The Tasty Weasel Taproom, Oskar Blues Brewery, Brevard, North Carolina.
