The annual Survivor Art Show is an exhibition of work from Our VOICE clients and others in our community who have been affected by sexual violence. Art is a powerful vehicle for healing, and this art show offers an opportunity for those impacted by sexual assault and abuse to share their story, which can be a vital step in the healing process. This year the Survivor Art Show will be hosted virtually on the Our VOICE website.
Opening Night
November 12th, 2020We will be kicking off the 19th annual Survivor Art Show with a virtual opening night, featuring performance art pieces by survivors. Keep an eye on our social media for more information!
VISUAL ART (painting, sculptures, etc.) is due on November 2nd, 2020
PERFORMANCE ART is due on October 22nd, 2020
To submit visual artwork for the Survivor Art Show, please scan or photograph your artwork at high resolution and submit it using our online form. You may also submit artwork in the form of a video file.
If you need assistance digitizing or submitting your artwork, please contact arayar@ourvoicenc.org and we will help coordinate a time for you to bring your artwork to our office to be photographed.

Visual art submission restrictions:
-Each artist may submit a maximum of 3 pieces of art for the show
-Performance pieces limited to one video (5 minutes or less) per person/group
-Our VOICE reserves the right to decline a submission for any reason
-The art show will remain posted from November 12th through December 31st, 2020; it will then become archived on our website. Contact us at any time if you would like your work to be removed.
