City of Hendersonville unveils budget dashboard

Press release from City of Hendersonville:

During their budget workshop on February 25, 2021, Hendersonville City Council members were presented with an overview of their accomplishments, goals, budget process, and City financial data. Assistant City Manager Brian Pahle and Senior Budget & Management Analyst Adam Murr provided the overview and used data dashboards to highlight topics such as financial summaries, property and sales tax, fund balance, personnel and benefits, capital improvements, and more.

The dashboards are now available to the public on the City’s website. These information tools pull data from the City’s financial system and promote transparency surrounding the local government budgeting process and how public dollars are spent. Website visitors can view financial data, compare it to other years, and learn about the topics from narratives that accompany the tables.
