Last spring, Xpress published a feature on formerly nomadic street photographer Brian Green, who spent a sojourn in Asheville taking pictures and installing a DIY pop-up gallery on Biltmore Avenue before moving on to Boston to attend the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
Green is planning to spend his winter break returning to his former wayfaring lifestyle: documenting the interactions of strangers as he travels the U.S. via public transportation for about 30 days. He’s launched a Kickstarter campaign which includes a video shot by Green and Tuck Chaylor. The video (below) is almost entirely footage from Asheville people and streetscapes, as well as information on Green’s new project.
You can see more of Green’s photographs from Asheville on his website.
