Good Tidings: An Ethical Pop-Up Shop, Nov. 29-Dec. 1

Press release from The Fair Goods Collaborative:

Good Tidings: An Ethical Pop-Up Shop @ Trade + Lore Coffee Shop

Hosted by The Fair Goods Collaborative

The Fair Goods Collaborative is a group of like-minded, women-led small businesses based in Asheville who work to promote ethical marketplaces for artisans and farmers in developing countries.

The Good Tidings Pop-Up is a way to highlight a shopping opportunity that both supports shopping locally, and well as, shopping fair trade. A variety of high quality, fair trade products including jewelry, accessories, home decor, baskets, and coffee will be available for purchase at the 3-day event. The Fair Goods Collaborative members are No Ordinary Women (NOW), Loom Imports, YEWO, Maadili Collective and Incite Coffee Company. Goods from the collaborative members are all sourced directly from artisans and farmers in Africa, Asia and South America.

The Fair Goods Collaborative shares a common vision: a fair marketplace for international crafts and consumables by supporting human-scale, ethical trade around the world. Through your purchases of goods likes these, the impact of your decision is felt here at home and also in the many communities around the world with which we work. Purchase fair trade gifts for everyone on your list this season!
