Jazz-N-Justice cocktail event to benefit POP Project

From POP Project:

Have a Cocktail for a Cause on Jazz-N-Justice Tuesday

THE BLOCK off biltmore’s July 19 Charity Night will benefit the POP Project.

ASHEVILLE, NC, July 11, 2016—The POP Project is teaming up with THE BLOCK off biltmore for a Jazz-N-Justice Tuesday giving event on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. On this date, POP will receive 10% of the business’s net sales during their open hours from 5:00–11:00PM.

During the evening, POP Project representatives will be on hand to distribute information about the organization, answer questions, and share a delicious small plate and beverage with bar patrons. Everyone is invited to come out and bring a friend for good company and great music.

Stop by for some good eats and to help out a great cause. The more food and drinks THE BLOCK off biltmore sells on July 19, the more money POP receives for their mission to provide books to local adults and children in need. With receiving 10% of the evening’s sales, that means every $10 spent at THE BLOCK that night equals $10 in books redistributed into Buncombe and surrounding counties.

Facebook users can show their support and save the date by adding themselves to the guest list for the event, which can be found through the POP Project’s Facebook page: facebook.com/POPproject.

THE BLOCK off biltmore serves as a place for people to converge in order to build community and inclusive friendships between diverse movements, where social justice issues are discussed, actions formulated, and deep, healing magic happens. The business is located in downtown Asheville at 39 S. Market Street. More information about Jazz-N-Justice can be found at their website: theblockoffbiltmore.com.
