Lake James State Park announces prescribed burn today in Paddy’s Creek area

Lake James State Park is planning on having a prescribed burn today, Wednesday, March 9, 2016. The burn is scheduled for the Long Arm Peninsula at the Paddy’s Creek Area. They are planning on burning 284 acres. The burn will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. The Boat-in Camping areas will be closed.
