N.C. Dept. of Health & Human Services holds Medicaid reform public hearings in WNC April 5-6

Medicaid Reform Public Hearings in Western North Carolina

Raleigh, N.C. – The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services will hold three public hearings in Western North Carolina to gather feedback from citizens and other stakeholders on the draft N.C. Medicaid Reform plan.

The Department wants as many people as possible to share their thoughts to ensure the right plan for North Carolina is submitted to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

April 5, 2016

  • 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
    Southwestern Community College Auditorium

April 6, 2016

  • 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
    Holiday Inn Express
    1943 Blowing Rock Road, Boone
  • 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
    Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College
    Mission Health/ A-B Tech Conference Center
    340 Victoria Road, Asheville

These three hearings are among 12 scheduled across the state from March 30 through April 18.

No registration is necessary. Each hearing will begin with a brief presentation, followed by the opportunity to give input on the draft Medicaid Reform waiver application.
