Pisgah Health Foundation has approved a Good Neighbor Critical Need Grant to Meridian Behavioral Health Services due to a damaged vehicle that was totaled in the storms in April.
Meridian’s staff uses the vehicle to meet with clients in their homes, transport clients to medical appointments, job searches, getting food or locating housing. All Meridian programs use this vehicle but the one that has experienced a greater loss is Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT). ACTT is a service provided by an interdisciplinary team that ensures service availability 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and is prepared to carry out a full range of treatment functions wherever and whenever needed.
Pisgah Health Foundation is grateful to fund this grant to ensure Meridian Behavioral Health Services is able to continue meeting the needs of their clients.
