PRESS RELEASE from The Junction Restaurant & Bar
Asheville, NC, May 13, 2014 — The Junction Restaurant & Bar in Asheville’s River Arts District is celebrating three successful years of business with a BBQ & Beer Bash 6-10 p.m. Tuesday, May 27. This official Asheville Beer Week event will feature Foothills Brewing, including a special keg of their beloved Sexual Chocolate Stout, and will benefit Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.
Chef Chad Kelly and his team will create a casual, picnic-style menu for the event including barbecue ribs, chicken and vegetarian options, as well as traditional and some not-so-traditional sides. Bar Manager Courteney Foster is lending her creative talents to a special cocktail list for the event. Reservations are encouraged and can be made via the restaurant’s website (thejunctionasheville.com) or by calling 828-225-3497.
For the third consecutive year, owners Charles and Tanya Triber have decided to incorporate a benefit into the celebration. This year, the non-profit of choice is Brother Wolf Animal Rescue (http://www.bwar.org/). Raffle prizes include generous donations from La Zoom Tours, Asheville Beer Tours, Nourish & Flourish’s juice bar, and select local artists as well as merchandise from Foothills Brewing and the Junction.
