From the Waynesville Garden Club:
ANNUAL WAYNESVILLE ROSE EXHIBIT
At the Haywood County LibrarySubmitted by Valerie Hunziker
This year’s Rose Exhibit sponsored by the Waynesville and Richland Garden Clubs will take place Thursday, June 8 through Saturday, June 10 at the Haywood County Library.
Rose growers are invited to enter competition with their fellow growers by bringing their rose stems and rose arrangements on Thursday, June 8, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. to the county library. Vases will be provided for the stems, and growers will be met by volunteers who will help them register their stems and arrangements to be displayed on long tables for easy voting by the public.
Interested residents and their children are invited to vote for their favorite rose stems and arrangements on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 8 – 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each day.
Our proud winners will be featured in a newspaper article in The Mountaineer following the exhibit. For more information, contact Valerie Hunziker at rhunziker@bellsouth.net.
