Asheville Art Museum Hosts Time Warp: a Benefit Gala on June 17

ASHEVILLE–The Asheville Art Museum is excited to host its annual benefit Gala on Saturday, June 17 at 6 p.m. at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel with a theme of Time Warp: Taffeta to Tartan to Tie Dye. As a nod to the former Foam & Fabric building which is the Museum’s “pop-up” home while it’s under construction, guests are invited to take part in a textile-themed evening — but with a twist! Time Warp reflects textiles in that warp and weft are the two directions of thread when weaving, and the evening will honor journeys through time, celebrating the Museum’s vibrant past and dynamic future.

This event is the Museum’s largest fundraising event of the year, and includes:

  • A cocktail dinner with gourmet food stations, wine, beer + signature cocktail
  • Live auction — fine art and travel packages
  • Dream Bar + Chef Dinner raffles
  • Centerpiece + textile art sales
  • A Meet-the-Maker VIP Hour (additional fee)

For details about the auction items and raffle prizes, visit www.ashevilleart.org/TimeWarp.

Tickets are $150 each, and may be purchased at www.ashevilleart.org or by calling 828-253-3227.

As an non-profit organization, the Museum relies on fundraising events like its annual benefit Gala to provide essential support to its ongoing programs and exhibitions.
