Celebrate Christmas cheer at the Folkmoot Family Fa-La-La musical event on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Local musicians will be performing holiday tunes and guests are encouraged to sing a long.
At this event, Folkmoot is auditioning its newly renovated auditorium by opening its doors to the community. The holiday concert will include performances by Voices In The Laurel, Saxophone Wassails of the Community Band, Karin Lyle and Blackberry Jam. Ticket price includes homemade pie, hot cider and a hot chocolate bar.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for ages 5 -18 years old and under 5 years old are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the ticket office of the Folkmoot Friendship Center, 112 Virginia Avenue in Waynesville.
Folkmoot is a 501©3 nonprofit organization that fosters the vibrancy of many cultures in one community. Folkmoot programs are based on cultural exchange and designed to build global relationships, foster cultural understanding and develop community prosperity.
