Do you have a student who is:
graduating high school in 2021?
a resident of Buncombe County?
intending to pursue a career in the performing arts?
If so — this scholarship is for them!A limited number of Wortham Center for the Performing Arts’ Emerging Artists Fund scholarships, beginning at $1,000 each, will be awarded to finalists. Scholarship recipients will also be featured in pre-recorded video performances during a Wortham Center virtual event on May 7, 2021.
Any interested high school senior in Buncombe County should apply by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021. Please share with the young performers in your life.
The Emerging Artists Fund scholarship is made possible by the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts’ Youth Education Scholarship (Y.E.S.) Fund.
