From Wedge Studio Artists:
Holiday Wedge Walk at the Wedge Art Studios
Wedge Studios, River Arts District (December 9, 2016): We invite you to continue your adventure through The Wedge Studios. A collection of the Wedge artists are coming together to make this holiday season great! This will be the Wedge Studios third in a series of themed shows which opens December 9.
In a building that turned 100 years old this year, The Wedge Studios Artists have become one of the premier stops in the River Arts District. As the district grows, the artists of The Wedge continue to celebrate and showcase the talent of their building. Experience this great space in its’ entirety during our open house and meet each artist in their studio. We are encouraging you to shop local this holiday season and come visit us in our studios to find the perfect gift!
The theme of our third show is “Miniature”. We are each creating small works of art as a sneak peek into our process. The show will be located on the second floor foyer, but we will be greeting our guests in each of our studios to give visitors the opportunity to see us in our creative spaces.
Each artist in the Wedge has a special and unique outlook on the world that is evident in the wide variety of talent displayed throughout the building. The Wedge Artist Studios celebrates its uniqueness every day with new and innovative artwork being produced and we look forward to sharing our recent creative power with the Asheville art community and its patrons this holiday season and into the new year!
