Looking for yet more spooky celebrations? Check out our roundup here, and in case that’s not enough, here are even more possibilities to choose from:

• Spooktacular Haunted House: The Parkway Playhouse is hosting an inaugural haunted house fundraiser. The family-friendly spookfest will benefit the Junior Theatre Festival. Within the haunted house, there will be an additional “scare if you dare” room for children 13 years and older. The event runs 7-9 p.m. on Friday and Sunday, Oct. 29-31, at Mountain Medical Arts, 2 South Main St. Tickets are $5 at the door. parkwayplayhouse.com

• Drinking with the Devil: All nine of Asheville’s South Slope breweries will release a new beer at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30. For the event, dubbed Devil’s Night, the breweries are prohibited from sharing any information in advance including the manner in which they intend to celebrate the latest batch. Costumes and Halloween themed games will likely be in the mix, but only those who attend will know for sure. Breweries include Asheville Brewing, Ben’s Tune-Up, Bhramari Brewhouse, Burial, Catawba, Green Man, Hi-Wire, Twin Leaf and Wicked Weed Funkatorium.

• Haunted Grove House Inferno: The Grove House Entertainment Complex channels Dante’s nine circles of Hell at this year’s Halloween dance party. Dance floors will run all three levels of the complex, with four DJs spinning a variety of music genres and four bars will be serving. A costume contest with four categories (creative, drag, sexy and scary) offers its winners cash prizes, ranging from $75-$100. The Haunted Grove House Inferno runs 9 p.m.-3 a.m. On Saturday, Oct. 29 at 11 Grove St. Entry is $25 at the door; advanced tickets are $20. Ages 18 and up. thegrovehouse.com

• Sovereign Remedies’ Halloween Bash: The event will include a costume contest, drink specials and according to its press release, “frighteningly good food.” There is no cover. The Bash is on Monday, Oct. 31. sovereignrememdies.com

• Brother Wolf’s Howl-O-Ween: People and dogs come together for Brother Wolf’s annual Howl-O-Ween Walkathon. The even takes place at the Eliada Corn Maze. Games, food, pet-friendly photo booths, trick-or-treating, music, and a red carpet costume contest will all be in the mix on Saturday, Oct. 29, noon-4 p.m. 2 Compton Drive. Adult tickets are $25 dollars; kids tickets (14 and under) are $10; children 3 and under enter free.

• Haunted High: The largest annual fundraiser for the Asheville High School Bands Program is also a Halloween-themed tradition. “This year’s Haunted High will be bigger than ever, with new terrors to test even the bravest heart,” says a press release. “Students will transform Asheville High School into the largest haunted house in WNC, with spooky thrills for old and young inspired by our favorite horror movies, ghost stories, and classic Halloween monsters.” Friday, Oct. 28, is student night, 10 p.m.-midnight. • Town of Fletcher Halloween Carnival: The annual event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Fletcher Community Park, 85 Howard Gap Road, on ball field No. 5. The free celebration includes “carnival style games with a Halloween twist, a costume contest, inflatable moon walk, slide and obstacle course, hay rides and lots of other family friendly Halloween fun.” FletcherParks.org

• Dia de los Muertos: The Salvage Station (468 Riverside Drive) hosts a Day of the Dead commemoration on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Watch flow and fire performances and live painters. Contribute to a community alter (“the offering should include items that would be appealing and comforting to the returning souls such as flowers, candles, food, photos, and personal mementos of the person being honored,” says a press release). • Halloween with Brevard College Jazz: Brevard College’s fall jazz concert seconds as a Halloween party. The band will perform Motown hits in costume and Brevard College Campus Life will host a costume contest for the audience. Monday, Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m. brevard.edu

• Andy Buckner’s Honky Tonk Halloween: Rock out at White Horse Black Mountain on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m. Southern rocker Andy Buckner shares a bill with singer-songwriter Dustin Christensen. $10 advance/ $12 door. whitehorseblackmountain.com

    Oh god, dogs in Halloween costumes again. I tried that once- and only once. He didn’t even make it 10 minutes before he chewed up his bat wings.
    Do these people drug their dogs or do I just not train mine correctly? I will give props to McGruff the crime dog.

    Every dog in costume has the same look “I am so going to chew on one of your shoes when I get home- you just wait.”
